My Winter Colors

I cannot wait to have my own Garden tons of Sunflowers, Lavender and Spices
Sometimes I wish I didn't rip the pages out of my journal. Do you experience that? I looked in it today and saw that I only wrote 3 x's in 2010. I guess between school and becoming more spiritually strong I lost my pen. One reason I like writing is to look back and be able to see my growth and how menial things can seem after you've passed them, or how random thoughts can be. A few of my goals for 2011 is to blog everyday , write in my journal day & night. Critique my craft. Become a better friend.
I was put on to some oldies but goodies..Pandora Radio: Ella Fitzgerald in my stereo

A Love Yourself Holistic Pedicure: Black Tea And Honey

This is an easy fall all natural Detox for your feet and soul!

What you will need is:

2 bags of black tea (look for fair-trade brands in stores)

Teaspoon of honey

Teaspoon of lemon

Bucket of warm/hot water

Soak your feet in the mixture for at least ten minutes. Be sure to use a pumice stone to remove dead skin. Proceed to the next step.

Foot scrub:

½ cup of Hawaiian sea salt (or any sea salt will do)

Teaspoon of honey

Three tablespoons of coconut oil (or any oil)

After combining these ingredients, massage onto your feet, paying extra attention to achy spots. While you’re at it, massage into your hands as well. Rinse off with warm water.

Moisturizing salve:

A tablespoon or two of honey (look at the farmers markets for the best deals)
